Barista - Ara Institute of Canterbury

Monday to Friday, 7am to 2.30pm in peak times 35 hours a week – Permanent (Educational Terms Only – student holidays off!)

We are on the hunt for a motivated and responsible individual with outstanding customer service, and a passion for coffee, to join our team at Coffee Infusion Café located on site at Ara Institute of Canterbury’s Madras in Christchurch.

To be successful, you will have experience in a similar café environment creating and serving tasty and tempting hot and cold cabinet options, and barista coffee. You must be able to:

The successful candidates will:

• make stunning barista coffees
• serve good wholesome café style food to customers,
• operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile,
• work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure,
• utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude,
• clean dishes and support the café manager with food preparation,
• enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more.
