HEAD BARISTA

Olympia is an architecturally designed cafe located in the heart of Merivale, Christchurch. We are known for pairing exceptional coffee with toasties and treats.

Trading 6 days per week, it is a go - to destination for office regulars, food and coffee lovers and weekend locals.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a barista to lead coffee operations at Olympia. This role is suited for a coffee professional who values quality, consistency and leadership.

TO FULFIL THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

• A passion for specialty coffee and hospitality
• Exceptional barista skills (latte art, troubleshooting, altering the grinder etc)
• Excellent food handling
• Multi-tasking with FOH experience
• A strong work ethic with a strong customer focus
• Strong ability to work autonomously
• A fun and positive demeanour
• The ability to develop meaningful relationships with customers

Hours include opening and closing 7am-2pm, 2-3 days per week (including Saturday's).
