Café Assistant & Barista

Acorns Café is a modern coffee bar serving delicious food to suit all appetites to dine in or take away.

We’re co-located with the local Stables Montessori Preschool “The Oaks”, creating a warm, community-focused atmosphere for friends, families and furry friends to connect. As our café continues to thrive, we’re looking for an additional team member to join the team.

The Role:

• We’re seeking an experienced Café Assistant – who is an all-rounder;
• with proven experience as a barista preparing espresso coffee,
• thrives in a front of house role – till management and customer engagement and
• takes pride in food preparation and service
• Working in a team of two, the role will also require an ability to operate independently at times
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
• The role will start as a part-time position of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of growing into full time hours across Monday to Saturday. It will also require flexibility to cover additional hours as required.
