We are an award-winning Tapas & Cocktail Bar located in the Bay of Islands, seeking a confident and experienced Head Waitress / Host to lead front-of-house service and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This role suits a hospitality professional who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining high service standards. Job Description – Key Responsibilities 1.Welcome and seat guests professionally. 2. Compliance of Sale and supply of alcohol act. 3. Compliance of host responsibility. 4. Working along General Manager & restaurant manager to run events and daily operations. 5. Manage daily reservations and table flow 6. Train, Lead and support wait staff during service 7. Ensure service quality and presentation standards 8. Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints and inform higher management. 9.Assist with staff training and onboarding 10.Maintain cleanliness and front-of-house organization. 11.Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams.

Bartender We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team and help deliver high-quality beverage service in a vibrant, high-energy hospitality environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cocktails, customer interaction, and working in a professional bar setting.

Job Description – Key Responsibilities
1.Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine and beer
2.Provide friendly and engaging customer service
3.Maintain bar cleanliness and organization
4.Ensuring the compliance of Sale and supply of alcohol act
5.Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
6.Handle cash and POS systems accurately
7.Follow responsible service of alcohol guidelines
8.Support events and peak service periods
Requirements Minimum 1–2 years bartending experience Strong product knowledge Ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Current LCQ / Duty Manager certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
