We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a high-end bistro-style venue in the heart of Auckland's CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of a well-established kitchen within a growing hospitality group, offering both creative freedom and strong support. The role includes a mix of day and evening shifts, working with a quality-driven menu that focuses on seasonal produce, refined execution, and consistent service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and mentoring a skilled kitchen team
- Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and service
- Menu development with a modern bistro focus
- Managing food costs, stock control, and ordering
- Upholding high standards across food quality, presentation, and hygiene

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up
- Background in high-quality, bistro or premium casual dining
- Confident leader with strong organisational skills
- Passion for fresh, seasonal food and well-executed plates
- Ability to work a mix of day and evening shifts (weekend availability is essential)
