We are look for a Senior CDP at our popular beachside Bistro
We are looking for talented and dedicated staff to join our kitchen team. As a Senior CDP you will work closely with our Senior Sous Chef to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen, help develop new dishes, and lead by example in a face-paced and dynamic environment. CDP must have previous experience in a high volume kitchen. This is a full-time position with a minimum guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities - Senior CDP
Assist the Senior Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and plating. Contribute to menu planning and development, ensuring a balance of creativity and quality. Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations. Step in for Head Chef as needed, managing kitchen operations in their absence.
Qualifications: At least two years of relevant experience as a Chef de Partie in a comparable role in a high volume venue Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively under pressure. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities. Passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. We offer an attractive package for those who have the required experience.
Requirements:
