ECE Centre Chef

Our Kids Early Learning, Glen Eden is looking for a superstar Centre Cook to join our team on Glendale Road. We are a family-owned organization with a commitment to providing quality Early Childhood Education and equal learning opportunities. Our Glen Eden Centre is licensed for 32 children and is a homely, nurturing environment with a well established team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide healthy, nutritious meals for our tamariki (children).
• Design seasonal menus aligned with the healthy heart criteria.
• Order groceries and supplies to meet menu requirements and within a budget.
• Manage daily cleaning duties for the kitchen and laundry, including clean up after meal times.
• Cater for Centre celebrations from time to time.

About You:

• Experience in creating nutritious meal plans for children under 6.
• Be able to accommodate allergies, and dietary requirements in your meal planning.
• Personable and inclusive attitude with a love for children.
• High standards for hygiene and cleaning protocols.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi task.
• Enjoy being part of a fun-loving and supportive team.

The position is 30-35 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 8.30/9.00am in the mornings.
