Calling EXPERIENCED Cafe chefs! Our cafe in Avonhead is hiring.
We are looking for a full-time cafe chef to join our friendly team. Someone that can bring past experience and work with our current chef to deliver delicious food.
For the ideal candidate for this role you will
*Have previous cafe experience in a busy cafe environment *Baking experience - muffins, scones, cabinet food and slices *Prepare menu cooked to order food - grill cooking (eggs benedicts, French toast, burgers etc) *Be knowledgeable about food safety and be clean and organized *Work well independently and in a team environment to deliver good presentation of food in a timely manner
Pay rate dependent on experience, must be able to work at least 1 weekend day. Start date will be early January next year 2026.
Please note we are not an accredited employer you will need to be in New Zealand with residency, citizenship or on a working holiday/study visa.
