Thai Chef

We are seeking a skilled Thai Chef to join our culinary team.

Requirements

Knowledge of Thai food ingredients and cooking techniques AND At least 6 years of related work experience or At least an NZ Register Diploma Level 4 qualification (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification) or A National Skill Standard Test for Thai Chef (Level 1) from Thailand.

Job Descriptions Need good knowledge of menu engineering. Inspecting food items to maintain high-quality standards Monitoring and adjusting the temperature of ovens, grills, and other cooking appliances Preparing and cooking meals Adding seasoning to food during the cooking process Serving food by portioning, plating, and applying sauces, gravies, and garnishes Storing ingredients and prepared food in temperature-controlled environments Preparing meals tailored to specific dietary needs Responsible for menu planning and estimating food quantities needed May also be involved in training kitchen staff and apprentices Other detail

This is a full-time and permanent position Wage is between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour, depending on your experience and skills, with weekly payments. Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

You will work according to a roster, 5 - 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
