The scope of our operations currently encompasses the award-winning venues King of Snake, Hugo French Bistro, ROCA, Monarch Cocktail Bar and Botanic.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie as we look to strengthen our talent pool and further raise our standards of excellence.

We are looking for passionate, career-orientated Chefs who are committed to continuous career growth and delivering amazing guest experiences.

As a Senior Chef de Partie at Hugo French Bistro, you will:

  • Be obsessed with contributing to the guest experience with high-quality work.
  • Have the desire to assist in leading a kitchen team in a very high-volume restaurant.
  • Have the desire to up-skill and further your career in hospitality.
  • Assist in any way as assigned by our Head Chef.
  • Have a minimum of 3-years cooking experience in professional kitchen.
  • Maintain and elevate our standards of food preparation by following the recipe manuals provided.
  • Have a platform to share your ideas within the kitchen environment.
  • Maintain standards of food and kitchen hygiene as provided in your training.
  • Ensure stock is maintained under optimal conditions and rotated/managed accordingly.
  • Ensure that all dishes leave the kitchen correctly garnished, portioned and presented.
  • Be willing to follow exact directions.
  • Maintain excellent personal hygiene.
  • Enjoy working, supporting, and contributing to a professional kitchen team.
  • Have the ability to effectively communicate with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Be available to work on a roster basis, with weekends and evenings required
