We’re on the hunt for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Sumner Post Office.

Located a stone’s throw from the beach, Sumner Post Office is a busy neighbourhood bar and eatery known for great food, good beer, and a lively atmosphere. Our menu focuses on elevated pub fare, seasonal ingredients, and food that pairs perfectly with great drinks.

The Role

You’ll work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver consistently great food during busy services. This is a hands-on role where you’ll run your own section and help maintain the high standards our customers expect.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
• Ability to run a section confidently during service
• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen organisation
• Passion for good food and working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, positive attitude and team player
