He angitūtanga | The Opportunity

We're looking for a talented and passionate Chefs to join our team at the Air NZ Lounge in Christchurch Airport. You'll be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals that reflect the Air NZ brand and deliver a memorable experience for every guest. This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, premium hospitality environment where excellence is the standard. This is a Casual Position where the hours of work are " as and when" required basis upon business needs.

Ko ō kawenga | Your Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present a variety of meals to a high standard, ensuring portion control and quality.
• Receive, store, and rotate kitchen supplies, maintaining stock levels and minimising waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations.
• Support menu development to meet dietary and cultural requirements.
• Coach and support kitchen team members while working collaboratively with colleagues.

He kōrero mōu | About You

• Hold an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery (or equivalent).
• Previous experience cooking in a similar high-volume or premium environment.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Physically fit, reliable, and committed to high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Able to pass a police clearance and pre-employment checks.
