Chef de Partie

Job description We are looking for a Chef de partie with experience to join our team as soon as possible. This position is perfect for someone who has at least 2 years of experience and is wanting to progress to a higher position. If you are enthusiastic about self-development and embrace opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge under the leadership of a great head chef then this is the position for you. The Alpine Lodge kitchen team will provide you with all the training and experience you need for your career progression.

We offer set menus and buffets to our tour groups and a variety of events including conferences, weddings, music and sport events and corporate functions. Our a la restaurant features good quality modern cuisine, with an emphasis on fabulous, fresh local produce from the Nelson area.

The Alpine Lodge is a family owned and operated hotel just over one hours easy drive from Nelson and Blenheim.

We have excellent staff accommodation available. We work together as a team supporting each other with a positive attitude and a willingness to be flexible when the pressure is on. Our team is international, we work together well, are fit, positive and love living in the beautiful mountain village of St. Arnaud. You will need to perform under pressure within a very supportive team environment and conduct yourself in a professional and calm manner at all times.
