Kitchen Manager
Hands-on Kitchen Manager cooking at one site and delivering meals to another site. Responsibilities include staff training, development of kitchen systems, creating rosters, managing staff workloads, following recipes and systems in the Kitchen across different kitchens,
Cibus Catering is a nationwide company with over 30 years of experience providing food services for aged care groups. Our mission is to offer high-quality meals and exceptional service to our clients. We plan comprehensive menus and have an extensive repository of recipes and a detailed Food Control Plan available through our App. Moreover, we are committed to supporting our staff with hands-on management and ongoing training. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a range of culinary skills gained from experience in various kitchen environments. Preferably you will have had experience in residential catering and/or managing a team of people. You should have familiarity with different food styles and dietary needs, you must have management experience in the food service area, with a knowledge of costing and budgets and how a Kitchen Team works. A proven track record of hard work, reliability, and professionalism is essential.

- Hours of work: Daytime hours only. Typically, from around 8.30 to approximately 5.30 and set days off.
- Friday and Saturday of or Suday and Monday off can confirm this

- Management Support: You will receive support with the management of the contract, as well as assistance with other managerial tasks that extend outside the kitchen, allowing you to focus on what you do best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive feedback from the facility that may have complaints and offer feedback and improvements able to work with the team under good management to work out a plan for improvement
- Provide leadership and direction to all kitchen staff on site and able to offer Direction and assistance to the staff off site.
- Good organisational skills with proven computer skills around speed sheets
- Management of Food cost and rostering more than one site
- Staff Training
