Summer Chef Gig New Plymouth
Looking for a festive summer role with great hours and great vibes? We've got an exciting Rest Home Chef assignment coming up in sunny New Plymouth, and we'd love to have you on board!
We have upcoming 3-week placement, perfect for soaking up the summer atmosphere while doing what you love. Expect meaningful work, friendly faces, and still plenty of time to enjoy beach days, BBQs, and long sunny evenings
The Details:
- Role: Rest Home Chef (Casual, with ongoing opportunities)
- Location: New Plymouth & surrounding areas
- Pay: $32.00 per hour + 8% holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of high-quality dishes
- Maintain excellent food presentation and hygiene standards
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and fully compliant
- Adapt quickly to new teams and kitchen environments
What We're Looking For:
- Proven chef experience in fast-paced commercial kitchens
- Calm under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexible, reliable, and available for on-call work
