Jet Park Hamilton Airport Hotel and Conference Centre is located across the road from Hamilton Airport- we are proudly independent, NZ owned & operated. We are looking for a reliable, experienced breakfast chef/cook to work 5 days per week cooking and presenting our breakfast buffet you may also be called to help with lunch a la carte or conference/function menus. Full training will be given. Although the majority of your shifts will be from 5am-1.30pm, from time to time you may be asked to assist with afternoon or PM shifts. We are also open to applicants who would like part-time work.
This position is available for an immediate start.
To be successful in securing a high-quality role we're looking for:
Experience with breakfast/buffet service and a bonus if you have also done a la carte and conference catering.
- Can work under pressure and uses initiative to take charge when needed!
- A skilled, passionate cook who loves producing delicious food.
- Focus on great guest experience by ensuring superb food and service.
- Experienced in adhering to health & safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Effective communication skills, and an aptitude for multi-tasking and good team-work.
- Able to work on a rostered basis and be reliable in your attendance.
