About Us Hamilton Dumpling House is a well-established Chinese restaurant specialising in handmade dumplings, traditional Chinese dough-based items, and classic Chinese hot dishes, with a strong focus on freshness, flavour, and consistency.

Due to the upcoming opening of our third store in Hamilton, we are seeking three experienced Chinese Cuisine Chefs to join our team to support business growth and ensure smooth kitchen operations for the new location.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present authentic Chinese dishes, including handmade dumplings, buns, noodles, and a variety of traditional hot dishes
• Follow established recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
• Participate in daily menu execution, food preparation planning, and service coordination
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and kitchen workflow during service periods
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Support effective kitchen operations for the new store, including setup and opening-stage operations
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food service

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven experience in dumpling and Chinese dough-based food preparation is highly preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
• Good teamwork skills and reliability
• Ability to commit to long-term employment and flexible working hours as required by the business
