Senior Chef De Partie Role
Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible and accountable for the following:
- Planning, organising and supervising daily food preparation within the kitchen
- Effective management of all kitchen departments with budgeted objectives -Assisting staff with training and development -Ensure stock management including stock takes -Assisting in menu development and costing on meal items
- Minimum Level 4 Professional cookery qualification
Ideal Candidate will have:
-At least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role, with proven supervisory experience and culinary education -Have a great attitude with willingness to learn -Strong eye for detail and perfection -Person that copes well under pressure, is reliable, enthusiastic
- Who has a passion for food and desire to present and produce high-quality dishes
The wage range for this role will vary between $30 to $35, depending on Skills, experience and Qualification
You will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week (normal week 40 hours plus)
Commis Chefs and Chef De Parties will need to have
- Passion for Food
- Willingness to learn
- Love working within a team
- Good under pressure
- Able to Manage a Section during service
- Good Communicators
- Eye for detail
- Minimum Level 3 professional cookery qualification
The wage range for this role will vary between $25 to $30, depending on Skills, experience and Qualification
You will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week (normal week 40 hours plus)
