Night Baker/Chef

Hey there :)

We are a plant-based bakery seeking a baker or chef to join our awesome team!

This is a full-time, night-time role:

• Flexible days - five per week, one weekend night required.
• 8pm start, 4am finish.
• Start date flexible.

Your job will be making and decorating different types of doughs and breads, frying, baking and decorating donuts, croissants, cookies, cakes, slices, etc.

We are looking for someone a minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience and at least 1 year of pastry/baking experience in a professional kitchen. Bonus if you have experience in plant-based baking!

The kitchen services our 3 bakeries in Wellington and our Jackson St cafe at the front of the premises. The kitchen is located on Jackson St in Petone. There is free street parking, and public transport is possible with trains/buses only taking 25 minutes from Wellington City.

Starting rate $28 p/h, negotiable based on experience. Applicant must have current NZ work status/visa.
