Housekeeping Supervisor

Quest Henderson is looking for a motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to support our housekeeping team in delivering outstanding guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and presentation while fostering a positive, supportive environment for our staff.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead and support the housekeeping team, maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, conduct quality inspections, and work with the support of the Hotel Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations
• Coordinate staff schedules and task allocation when needed
• Lead, coach, and motivate the housekeeping team
• Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed
• Conduct room inspections and quality checks
• Identify opportunities for service improvements and operational efficiencies
• Maintain clean, welcoming, well-presented areas
• Support team in rooms and public areas
• Handle guest requests or issues related to housekeeping About You You lead with energy, positivity, and a commitment to exceptional service. You will ideally have:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in housekeeping, with ideally 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching and conflict resolution.
• Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lead by example and assist with operational tasks when needed.
• Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Hospitality qualifications or related training are an advantage.
