Join our team as a Cleaning Assistant at Fonterra Darfield, where you'll utilize a range of materials and equipment to clean various surfaces and maintain buildings in a clean and hygienic condition. This role requires a proactive approach to safety and the utilization of all safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group. This is a Permanent Part Time Position.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Perform basic stain removal, wipe, scrub, and disinfect hard surfaces such as sinks, countertops, and toilets.
• Sweep and mop areas in high-risk hygiene areas in the milk processing plant.
• Clean external surfaces, including hand-washing, spraying, rinsing, scraping, spot cleaning, and squeegeeing.
• Maintain soft floor surfaces by removing surface waste and vacuuming.
• Follow company cleaning procedures and ensure rapid response to urgent cleans and spills.

• Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Flexible approach and attitude, with good communication skills.
• Hard-working, physically fit, and reliable.
• Police clearance is required.
