MULTI-DOMESTIC | PART TIME | ALDEN LAKEWOOD

Alden Lakewood in Shirley, Christchurch is a warm and welcoming aged care home seeking a reliable and dedicated Multi-Domestic to join our team. This is a casual role and essential to the comfort and wellbeing of our residents and covers kitchen, laundry, and cleaning services.

This is a part time role where we are looking to cover shifts on Tuesday and Wednesday and additional shifts as required

About the Role

As a Multi-Domestic, you will support the smooth day-to-day running of the home by contributing across three key areas:

Kitchen Hand

• Support the Cook and kitchen team with daily food service
• Assist with meal preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning duties
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times

Laundry

• Provide laundry services for residents and the facility
• Handle linen and personal clothing with care and respect
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area

Housekeeping

• Clean resident rooms and shared areas to a high standard
• Follow infection control and cleaning procedures
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment

Preferred Experience & Requirements

• Experience in cleaning, laundry, kitchen, or hospitality (aged care preferred)
• Understanding of hygiene and health and safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently and follow routines
• Willingness to complete training as required
