About the role Our dedicated kitchen team are looking for a Kitchen Hand to deliver excellent service to our residents and visitors to our stunning retirement village, Pohutukawa Landings in Beachlands, East Auckland.
This role would suit someone who is wanting to start a career in the kitchen and enjoys working as part of a team as well as working unsupervised. We offer top hours rates, weekend allowance and great staff benefits…. Read on
We have following shift available:
Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10am to 6.30pm = 24hrs week.
There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.
Duties include:
- Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
- General cleaning in the Kitchen
- Assisting with preparation of meals
- Delivering food to our care home (within the property)
Skills and Experience Required:
- Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)
- Positive attitude and a strong team player
- Excellent food hygiene skills
- Good time management and communication skills
- A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (advantageous)
