About the role

You’ll play a hands-on role in keeping the café running smoothly day-to-day. This includes leading service, maintaining flow during busy periods, and ensuring a consistently high standard across coffee, food, and customer experience.

You’ll be trusted to work independently and take ownership of your shifts.

Key responsibilities

Opening and/or closing the café

Running smooth, efficient service during busy periods

Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages

Light food prep and cabinet management

Supporting a small team and maintaining a positive environment

Upholding standards without direct supervision

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in a fast-paced café

Confident working independently and leading service

Highly reliable and consistent (crucial in a small team)

Strong organisation and time management

Positive attitude and great energy with customers and team
