We're on the lookout for a passionate Cook to join us, preparing nutritious, delicious meals for children aged 0-5. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week in a fun, supportive environment with an experienced and close-knit team. About the Role: If you have a passion for providing meals for young children, we want to hear from you. An exciting opportunity has come about for a new Centre Cook to join our busy team at BestStart Motutaiko Street. We are searching for someone who can provide fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals for our children each day. As our Centre Cook you will plan, prepare and cook an appetising and culturally varied menu for the children, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. You'll need to be efficient with your time and have an excellent knowledge of foods that promote good nutrition and healthy eating for our children. This is a permanent position working 25 hours per week Monday-Friday.

We are looking for the following:
- Knowledge around health and safety in the kitchen and set high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
- A passion for cooking and baking
- An understanding of allergies and dietary requirements
- Be computer savvy, in order to design menus and place orders each week
- The ability to remain within the budgets for ordering food
- A passion for promoting healthy eating for young children
