Job Title: store Manager vacant: 2 needed Location: Auckland Position Type: Full-time, Permanent role Rate: $30/hour ; 35 hours per week Date start : 1/Feb/2026
Reports to: Director
Job Summary: We are seeking 2 dedicated store managers to run the daily operations of our bakery café and takeaway. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on customer service, staff management, and operational excellence. The Manager will work closely with the supporting team and director to ensure the smooth running of the business and uphold the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Operations Management: 1. Assure overall management of day-to-day operations, to achieve efficiency and high standards of service. 2. Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain logistics for all bakery, café and takeaway products. 3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations at all times.
Staff Supervision: 1. supervise and train staffs, to ensure they meet performance and customer service standards. 2. Manage staffs schedules, ensuring adequate coverage throughout all shifts. 3. Lead the development of a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and promoting staff morale.
Product Setting and Quality Control: 1. Work with owner to plan and update menu. 2. Maintaining high standards for product quality and presentation of products. 3. Conduct regular quality checks alongside to ensure product consistency.
Customer Service Excellence: 1. Ensure excellent customer service by training staff and addressing customer inquiries and complaints promptly. 2. Support initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. 3. Monitor customer feedback and suggest improvements to the Management team
Health & Safety Compliance: 1. Support the implementation and adherence to health and safety protocols in food retail. 2. Ensure all food handling, preparation, and storage areas meet the required hygiene and safety standards.
Qualification or Work Experience Required:
The ideal candidate must have either:
- Bachelors degree (or above) in business management/administration, or relevant field, or a certification in hospitality management; or
- At least three years’ work experience in a Store Manager or similar role.
The candidate must also have the following skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication abilities.
