Description

We’re looking for an experienced Estate Manager to join our Estate Management Services team in Auckland. In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of estate files, ensuring beneficiaries and internal clients receive a positive experience. You’ll oversee estate administration from start to finish, including probate applications, asset distribution, and compliance with governing legislation and company best practices. Reporting to the Estate Services Manager, you’ll become part of a close-knit team of seasoned professionals with over 50 years of combined expertise. About You You’re detail-oriented, empathetic, and thrive in a role that requires strong organisational skills and client focus. You can manage complexity, work collaboratively, and maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism. You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using multiple systems to keep records up to date.

  • Administer a portfolio of estates in line with legislation and company standards.
  • Liaise with our Legal team to prepare and manage High Court Probate applications.
  • Communicate regularly with beneficiaries and keep them informed throughout the process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external professionals to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records across trust accounting, CRM, and other systems.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management, health and safety, and delegated authority frameworks.
  • Contribute to team improvement initiatives and mentor new team members when required.
  • Experience in estate administration, legal secretarial work, or financial/professional services is essential
  • A collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven strong client service skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in office systems (e.g. NavOne, IManage and CRM) and technology.
  • Ability to interpret and apply financial and legal information.
