Maintenance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Manager forms a critical part of the team. This role is suited to an individual who is highly organized, is able to work autonomously and displays high attention to detail while leading your team.

This is a full-time position with typical working hours between 5.00am and 2.00pm. Days and hours may change and vary in time to meet the needs of the business. Some weekend work may be required. A minimum guaranteed hours of 40 per week.

The applicant must have a background in general maintenance and repairs, general handyman skills would be advantageous to maintain equipment and general maintenance work around our buildings. Training will be provided also as you go. What you can expect on a day-to-day basis?

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance management.
• Conduct regular training and development sessions to enhance team skills and effectiveness.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of facilities and equipment
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including labour, materials, and external services

• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously
• Highly organized, with the ability to meet strict timelines
• Well-presented and friendly
• Availability to work early mornings to prepare the restaurant for trade . Able to manage staff and give clear instructions
• Full working rights in New Zealand is required
