About the role; Bar Manager - Mr Brightside

• Seeking a cocktail geek with a passion for product and an inventive side. Ability to lead our bar team to success during service.
• Working with the owners & Venue Manager to develop delicious cocktail lists for each seasonal change - adapting to the brand and polishing our product
• Stocktake, par levels and ordering responsibilities to ensure smooth service
• Guest service must be impeccable - ability to create memorable experiences for our patrons and having them return time & time again
• Be the face of the venue when on duty - a great attitude and welcoming personality
• Lead and develop the bar team from the front - have time and patience to encourage new team members and invest in their passion for hospitality
• Assisting in onboarding and training of new staff
• End of day reconciliation & closing procedures
• Floor experience a plus - and willingness to get out on the floor with the rest of the teams (not always stuck behind the bar!)
• Support our Venue Manager in the daily running of the business

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Food & Beverage industry
• Valid LCQ (License Controller Qualification) and current Duty Manager’s Certificate
• A fun, outgoing personality with the ability to connect with patrons and earn the respect of the team
• Strong multitasking and delegation skills, remaining calm and composed under pressure
• Flexible availability - weekends and late nights are crucial for this role
