Restaurant Manager

Sitting in the heart of Christchurch's hospitality scene with a front row view of the iconic Avon river is Zodiac!

Zodiac is a stylish popular venue serving modern Asian cuisine all in the unique surroundings of our very own aquarium!

We are looking for aRestaurant Managerwho can take control of FOH operations as well as lead and develop our team of hospitality stars.

The successful candidate is required to have at least two years experience in hospitality and/or hold a relevant hospitality related qualification, or higher level diploma or degree level qualification.

You will work closely with the Directors and General Manager to train and inspire our team of local and international staff, follow in house procedures such as opening, closing, cash up and booking procedures, assist with roster requirements as well as provide exceptional customer service to our new and loyal guests.

Key aspects of the role include:

• An understanding of directing a fast-paced, multi sitting restaurant
• Working closely and openly as a team
• A professional and mature approach to managing staff, driving business and increasing revenue
• Excellent knowledge of the industry and willingness to learn and promote our products and service standards
• Strong focus on customer service, building relationships and driving consistency

This is a permanent full time role - minimum 30 hours per week 5 days per week and includes weekends. Pay grade is between $28 to $35 per hour and is based on experience. Other benefits include tips and staff meals.
