Description
Sushi Shop Manager
The Shop Manager is responsible for leading daily operations and delivering strong performance across customer experience, operations, compliance, and team leadership.
Customer Experience
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service
- Monitor and manage customer feedback and complaints
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment
- Support strong Google ratings and customer satisfaction
Operations
- Oversee daily shop operations (kitchen and front-of-house)
- Ensure food quality, freshness, presentation, and consistency
- Support and supervise sushi and hot food preparation
- Manage stock, ordering, and daily setup/pack-down
- Maintain speed and efficiency while upholding standards
- Drive shop sales growth and manage operations cost
- Making Sushi
Compliance & Food Safety
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain compliance with council food audits
- Enforce company policies and operational standards
People & Leadership
- Lead, train, and develop team members
- Lead by example and communicate effectively
- Resolve issues efficiently and proactively
- Attend and contribute to leadership meetings
