Duty Manager – Book Tekapo Holiday Homes
We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Duty Manager to join our busy family business. This is not a suit-and-tie role – it’s a practical, varied position where no two days are the same.
About the Role As Duty Manager, you’ll help keep our holiday homes running smoothly and ensure guests have a fantastic stay. Day-to-day tasks may include:
Supporting the housekeeping team when needed
Responding to guest enquiries by phone and email
Handling small maintenance tasks and troubleshooting issues
Managing, training, and supporting staff across the business
We’re seeking someone with a positive attitude, great people skills, and the confidence to roll up their sleeves when required. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working as part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.
Must have: NZ Drivers Licence At least three years of relevant work experience OR a relevant qualification at Level 4 or above. Appropriate visa to legally work in New Zealand
It would be advantageous if you: Can speak Mandarin Are familiar with Property Management Software, Operto Teams, OTA's Have international hotel experience or equivalent training
Staff accommodation is available. This will be discussed with the successful applicant.
