Holiday Park - Operations Managers (Couple)

Glentanner is situated adjacent to the Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, hosting many international and domestic tourists and groups in its's high occupancy Holiday Park. Our Holiday Park contains 14 accommodation units and 120 sites with the appropriate facilities to service these.

This is a full-time permanent position for an enthusiastic and energetic couple. It is not an office position although monitoring of the PMS (Property Management System) after hours when on duty is required. Applicants must be fit, healthy and embrace working in the outdoors and working alongside the housekeeping staff.

Main role and responsibilities are shared between the couple:

• Liaise and work closely with our operations manager who manages the daily reservation and reception operation
• Manage daily housekeeping operations and work with housekeeping staff, manage general grounds and maintenance. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety exist across the park.
• Ensure housekeeping staff are trained, supported, rostered and aligned to expectations
• Foster a positive, safe and collaborative team culture
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed
• Uphold all health, safety and emergency procedures

Our preferred Applicants will have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role and/or in team leadership roles
• Excellent communication skills and time management
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
• The ability to identify improvements and take initiative
• A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to hit the ground running
• Current Police Check
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence

This is a live-in position; onsite accommodation is available in a modern three-bedroom house.
