Description
We are looking for an Experienced Bar Manger for The Station Bar & Bistro, plus a Duty Manager for The Boardwalk Beach Bar & Bistro.
As Bar Manager you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day running of the premises, ensuring a strong focus on customer service.
Responsibilities will include the following: >Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the premises, ensuring a strong focus on customer service and profitability. >Train, and mentor front-of-house staff; conduct regular staff meetings to ensure clear communication and resolve issues. >Conduct regular stocktakes, order supplies from approved vendors, and assist with menu development and costings. >Oversee end-of-shift till reconciliations, clear table tabs, and provide detailed notes to office staff regarding any discrepancies.
Customer Experience & Service: >Maintain high levels of team cooperation and ensure staff can confidently describe bar promos, menus, cocktail & wine lists, and daily specials. >Proactively follow up on customer feedback and complaints to ensure guests leave satisfied and encouraged to return. >Confirm and manage function room bookings to ensure seamless execution of events.
Compliance & Administration: >Ensure strict adherence to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, Gaming Laws, and Health & Safety regulations. >Attend senior management meetings to contribute to business strategy and procedure improvements. >Manage the "MyTimeSheet" system daily, ensuring all staff log hours, split shifts, and mandatory breaks correctly for audit purposes. >Ensure the premises are clean, fully stocked, and that all equipment is maintained to reduce breakdowns.
You will need: > At least 2 years of relevant hospitality experience. >A current LCQ/Manager's Certificate. > Exceptional communication, leadership and computer skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving > Ability to work a roster that includes days, nights, weekends, school and public holidays.
Duty Managers' key duties will include: > Efficiently managing the smooth day-to-day running of the operations while on shift. > Coordinating with other senior staff members. > Ensuring customers get the best services while spending their hard-earned money with us. > Taking bookings and confirming functions. > Maximising profitability through sales/upselling while maintaining customer services standards. > Managing staff . > Resolving customer complaints.
The requirements for Duty Managers: > LCQ & Manager's Certificate. > At least 1 year of relevant hospitality experience. > Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills. > Being proactive, able to work as part of a team, reliable and able to work under pressure.
