Bar Manager:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Bar Manager to join our Bar and Restaurant on a permanent, full-time role. The ideal applicant should be one with below requirements:
Role Requirements:
- Relevant hospitality experience or relevant qualification
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Positive attitude and a hands-on approach to service
- Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning drink menus including wine lists and sophisticated drinks such as cocktails
- Planning and organising special functions
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- Maintaining records of stock levels and negotiating with suppliers
- Ensuring bar facilities comply with licensing and health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with products and service
- Selecting, training and supervising bar staff, including ensuring that the staff profile complies with licensing laws
- Ensuring all licensing laws are complied with by staff and patrons
- Managing the bar budget and financial transactions
- May be engaged in marketing and promotion of the bar and its services
- May greet guests and assist in preparing and serving beverages to patrons
Pay & Conditions:
- Permanent full-time position
- Minimum 32 hours per week
- Pay rate depending on experience
DUTY MANAGERS
We are looking for two reliable and motivated Duty Managers to join our busy restaurant and bar in a permanent, full-time capacity. This role is ideal for someone with experience in hospitality who is ready to step into a leadership position and contribute to the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant venue.
Role Requirements:
- Relevant hospitality experience
- Good communication skills and ability to manage busy operations
- Proactive, positive, and hands-on approach to all tasks
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth service and high customer satisfaction
- Lead by example during service hours and provide hands-on support across the floor
- Assist with staff rostering, onboarding, training, and general team supervision
- Maintain high standards for food and beverage service, and ensure health, safety, hygiene, and licensing compliance
- Manage customer interactions including bookings, greetings, and resolving concerns
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Assist with venue opening and closing duties, including cash handling and daily financial records
- Support budgeting and basic financial reporting
- Assist with planning menus and special functions alongside chefs and management
- Help promote and market the business to attract and retain customers
Pay & Conditions:
- Permanent, full-time roles
- Minimum 32 hours per week
