Experienced Duty Manager

The Prince Albert Backpackers and bar is one of the oldest bars in Nelson, only 5mins from Nelson town centre and we are looking at expanding our team with a new Duty Manager.

Roles and responsibilities-

• Maintain host responsibility and ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act
• Ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming venue for all customers and guests
• Reception duties such as; greeting guests, assisting customers with luggage
• Housekeeping duties
• Barista experience
• Flexibility to work ( Early starts, Late nights and weekends)
• Administration Skills
• Cash Handling

What You Need-

• Current Duty Manager Certificate and LCQ (Licensed controller qualification)
• Experience in hospitality (minimum 6 months of managerial experience)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Confident, calm, and reliable under pressure
