Bar Operations Manager

Full time/permit position

Pay $28 - $32

Hours 35 - 40

We’re looking for an experienced Bar Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, manage our team, and grow our brand both in-venue and online.

Key Responsibilities

■ Oversee daily bar operations and service standards

■ Lead, train, and roster bar staff

■ Ensure compliance with NZ health, safety, and liquor licensing laws

■ Manage stock, ordering, suppliers, and cost control

■ Maintain drink quality and consistency

■ Handle customer feedback and incident management

■ Manage and create content for social media, promotions, and events

Requirements

■ Minimum 2 years’ hospitality experience

■ At least 1 year in a management or supervisory role

■ Current Duty Manager’s Certificate (required)

■ Experience with social media and basic digital marketing

■ Good knowledge working with the Meta system.

■ Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

■ Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
