We are seeking a passionate, career-focused Restaurant Manager dedicated to ongoing career growth while providing exceptional guest experiences and taking full ownership of a high-performing restaurant.
As a Restaurant Manager at our venues, you will be Responsible For:
- Lead the team with the day-to-day operational management of the business, including responsibility for KPI's, regular staff recruitment, onboarding, training & development, quality control, business oversight and have a platform to submit valued ideas.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and elevating the level of service excellence that we are known for.
- Handling escalated customer issues professionally.
- Oversee many aspects of daily operations, such as overseeing rosters, cashing up, managing staff, managing cost and inventories, driving customer reviews and positive feedback, executing different platforms of social media, including local marketing and promotional activity, and running the restaurant during service.
This is a senior position, and requires candidates to have:
- 2 years+ of experience in Restaurant Manager positions working in similar style venues with strong knowledge of Malaysian cuisine.
- Management experience working in a Malaysian restaurant in New Zealand is a must.
- Hold a Level 7 or above qualification in Business Management or Hospitality.
- Proven ability to run a high-performing team in the front and back of house.
- Strong experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Social Media.
- Highly organised with strong time management
- Have High Self-Efficacy and Passionate about hospitality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, and a confident leader who brings out the best in others
- Be obsessed with creating a great customer experience
- Have excellent personal presentation
- Organised, energetic, adaptable, and calm when things get busy
- Have the willingness to learn, grow and adapt under guidance & leadership within the group.
- Have an LCQ and/or an active Duty Managers certificate
- Flexible availability (including mornings, evenings, and weekends)
