Cook

Kitchen Station Limited is an Auckland-based hospitality business seeking two experienced Cooks to join our kitchen team on a full-time permanent basis. Applicants must have at least two years of relevant work experience, or hold a Level 4 qualification in commercial cookery.

• Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Assist with menu planning and estimating food requirements
• Ensure food is prepared, cooked and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
• Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods

• Skills and Experience Required

• At least 2 years’ relevant work experience, OR
• A relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in cookery
• to have sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
• to be able to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• to possess good teamwork and communication skills

• What We Offer

• Pay rate at $24 ~ $28.00 per hour
• Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week and maximum of 40 hours per week
