He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and guest-focused Shower Host to join our Qantas team at Auckland International Airport. In this role, you'll ensure the shower and restroom facilities are impeccably clean, well-stocked, and ready to provide a premium experience for our guests. Your warm hospitality and attention to detail will help create a relaxing and memorable environment for travellers. This is a Permanent position with 20 hours guaranteed per week. Therefore, the successful candidate MUST be available to work during weekends.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist guests courteously upon arrival at the shower facility.
  • Prepare and reset shower suites between guest use, ensuring hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and maintain stock levels.
  • Perform daily cleaning across lounge areas including restrooms, showers, seating zones, and staff areas.
  • Report maintenance issues and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

  • Experience in a similar role, ideally in a premium hospitality or airport environment.
  • Excellent grooming and professional appearance, with a warm and courteous manner.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexible with shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward guest service and cleanliness.
