An opportunity exists, part time or full time, for a reliable, customer-focused Independent Contract Driver to operate a Super Shuttle vehicle servicing Auckland Airport and the wider Auckland region.

This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible, self-employed contract work and who enjoys meeting people from all walks of life.

Retirees, semi-retired individuals, and experienced professional drivers seeking supplementary income are encouraged to apply.

Key Requirements

• Previous or current experience driving for Uber, Uber Airport, Taxi, Shuttle, Driving Miss Daisy, or similar passenger transport services.
• Familiarity with Auckland Airport operations and Auckland road network.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to and from Auckland Airport and other destinations.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist passengers with luggage when required.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and presentable condition.
• Comply with all operational and safety requirements.

Other Requirements

• Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver Licence.
• P Endorsement preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
• Clean driving record.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Contract Arrangement

• Independent Contractor Agreement.
• Vehicle supplied by the Principal.
• Flexible working arrangements available.
• Earnings based on work completed and seasonal demand.
• Contractor responsible for their own tax obligations.

Important Information

The airport shuttle industry is seasonal in nature. The busiest periods are generally during the summer and autumn months when passenger volumes are highest. Applicants should understand that workload may fluctuate throughout the year.
