Description
Jin & Feng Restaurant Ltd is Chinese cuisine restaurant based in Tauranga. With the growing of our business, we are currently looking for full-time Cook. You will be offered this position with $25-$30 per hour depending on your experience and skills. This role will be a permanent position and will be guaranteed 40 hours per week.

- Evaluating the quality of food before cooking, make sure all raw materials have not expired or deteriorated;
- Managing food storage by placing them into the right temperature controlling equipment based on their storage condition;
- Consulting with the executive chef and other chefs to plan menus.
- Adjusting the temperatures of cooking equipment like Owen, grills, and others as needed;
- Separating cooked food into portions, put it on plates, and serve it with appropriate sauce and garnishes;
- Supervises and trains kitchen staff;
- Ensures kitchen hygiene and cleanliness is maintained to highest standard;
- Stocking checking and ordering food supplies;
- Undertakes other duties
