Part-Time Gardener & Grounds Maintenance

Farmers Corner ( http://www.farmerscorner.co.nz) based in Ashburton is looking for a reliable, hands-on Gardener & Grounds Maintenance person to help care for our gardens, grounds, and lifestyle property. This is a varied outdoor role suited to someone practical, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a rural environment.

About the Role

• Maintain gardens, lavender field and grounds (mowing, weeding, pruning, planting)
• Keep outdoor areas tidy, safe, and visitor-ready
• Support seasonal lavender harvesting, and basic production.
• Assist with alpaca care (feeding and maintaining enclosures)
• Carry out basic maintenance (irrigation, water systems, minor repairs)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in gardening, landscaping, or property maintenance
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Reliable, practical, and able to work independently Bonus: animal care or basic maintenance skills
