We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Part Time Cook to work at South Canterbury DHB in Timaru, working 24 hours per week**.** This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive healthcare environment where your skills will directly contribute to patient wellbeing.

In this role, you’ll be part of a dedicated kitchen team delivering high-quality meals, while enjoying consistent part-time hours that support work-life balance. You’ll have the chance to further develop your culinary skills in a large-scale, professional kitchen, with access to training and career progression opportunities within Compass Group.

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

If you're our perfect candidate you will be a team player, passionate about food and have excellent time management skills. You will have outstanding customer service and be flexible, with a friendly and positive attitude.

You will have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team**,** with at least 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen. A food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) is preferred.

You will also demonstrate strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and a genuine commitment to food quality and service excellence.
