Bakers

Hastings Bakery is owned through the company Pheng Lim Ltd and is located at 1139 Heretaunga St West, St Leonards, Hastings.

We have two vacancies for experienced bakers to join our team.

Hours & Remuneration Successful applicants will be paid between $30.00 - $37.00 per hour depending on skills & experience.

We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours work each week and the maximum weekly hours is 40 hours in a week. We operate 7 days a week and our Bakers are rostered on a variable roster between 3am to 4pm.

Duties The primary responsibilities for this position are those stated below:

• To prepare an assortment of pies (including fillings), quiches, slices, cakes and donuts etc.
• To assist in preparation of hot meals if required.
• To maintain safety standards
• To maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure stock rotation.
• Keep production records.
• Assist in ordering stock.
• Train assistant bakers if required.

Candidate Requirements To be considered for the role applicants should have at least 2 years of baking experience within a bakery, café, patisserie or supermarket setting.
