Chef de Partie (CDP) Location:1/76 Marsden Road Paihia, Bay of Islands Number of positions available: 1 Experience/ Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in similar or above role. Wages: $25-$30 per hour depending on experience Employment Type: Full Time, Minimum guaranteed hours 30 per week, Maximum 55 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Service 1.Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards. 2.Manage a designated kitchen section. 3.Ensure all dishes leave the kitchen to the required quality and presentation standards. 4.Maintain consistency during busy service periods. 5.Assist with menu development and daily specials. 6.Organize mise en place and ensure adequate preparation for service. 7.Monitor stock levels within the section and report shortages. 8.Minimize waste and follow portion control procedures. 9.Ensure equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working order. 10.Follow all Food Control Plan requirements and food safety regulations. 11.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, including the dish washing area. 12.Ensure correct storage, labeling, and rotation of stock (FIFO). 13.Comply with health and safety policies at all times.

Summary The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and service team, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance with New Zealand hospitality regulations. The role involves leading staff during service, training team members, handling customer concerns, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage delivery.
Job Description 1.Supervise front-of-house staff during service. 2.Lead pre-shift briefings and allocate duties. 3.Train, mentor, and support waitstaff, bartenders, runners, and hosts. 4.Monitor staff performance and provide feedback. 5.Assist with onboarding and training of new employees. 6.Deliver exceptional guest experiences. 7.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally. 8.Ensure service standards are maintained at all times. 9.Build positive relationships with regular customers and visitors. 10.Oversee food and beverage service during shifts. 11.Ensure orders are delivered accurately and promptly. 12Monitor presentation and quality standards. 13.Assist with reservations, table management, and floor operations. 14. Ensuring Compliance of Liquor laws and liquor license
