Baker

VNV TRADING LIMITED Trading as Ronnie's Bakery and Cafe in Tokoroa is currently recruiting for the position of a Baker.

You must have at least minimum two years of experience or a relevant qualification for this role.

Some of the tasks that you will be required to conduct on a day to day basis, include: prepare and bake bread loaves and rolls, buns, cakes, biscuits and pastry goods.

• checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
• kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
• preparing pastry fillings
• monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times
• coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products
• glazing buns and pastries, and decorating cakes with cream and icing
• operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits
• emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment

Requirements Looking for a candidate who holds minimum 1 year of work experience in Bakery / cookery / chef OR holds minimum level 4 qualifications

Minimum guarantee 30 hours per week

rotating roaster minimum hours are 30 and maximum can be 40 or 45 The pay rate for the position will be minimum from $24
