Porter Position

The Crown Hotel is a 4.5 star boutique hotel offering 39 guestrooms and suites and conference facilities located on the waterfront in Ahuriri, Napier.

The Crown Hotel is currently looking for a part-time Porter.

We are looking for a candidate who can work within a small team and department that are responsible for delivering a high level of customer service and exceeding guests expectations. If you enjoy interacting with different people and strive to deliver an amazing guest experience and team culture then this position will suit you! This position is approximately 4-5 days per week and must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends and day or evening shifts.

We are looking for team members that demonstrate the following: *Flexibility to be able to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays if required. Both day and evening shifts. *Hardworking and able to work efficiently. *Be a reliable team member and have a mature work ethic *Have a positive attitude and is honest and reliable *Shows initiative in their responsibilities around the hotel *Has a welcoming smile and enthusiastic personality around our team and guests. *Wanting a permanent and secure position and be part of a team and a great hotel

Responsibilities include: · Assisting all departments when required including conference and function setup and operations, front desk with check ins and checkouts and housekeeping with laundry. · Helping guests with enquiries, minibar checks and delivery of in-room dining

The position is permanent and part-time and must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Full training will be provided.
