He angitūtanga | The Opportunity:

As the Catering Supervisor at Tupuarangi Hall, you’ll oversee daily catering operations and the performance of team members across front‑ and back‑of‑house services. You’ll ensure food service delivery meets Compass Group standards, contractual requirements, and all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations—while creating a welcoming and positive dining experience for residents.

Ko ō kawenga | Your Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily catering operations, allocating work and supporting staff during service.
• Deliver professional customer service by maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment and handling queries or concerns.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised dining and kitchen areas, including stock rotation and replenishment of supplies.
• Support staff training, performance, and engagement while modelling high standards of behaviour and presentation.
• Assist with food preparation and service while ensuring adherence to site food safety plans and company procedures.

• Experience in a similar catering or hospitality supervisory role.
• A confident, reliable leader who enjoys supporting and motivating a team.
• Strong communication skills with a positive, customer‑focused approach.
• Flexible, hardworking, and physically fit with the ability to manage a busy operational environment.
