He angitūtanga / The opportunity: We are seeking Catering Assistants to join our team at the Air New Zealand Lounge in New Plymouth Airport. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality food and beverage service, ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing and premium experience. You’ll work collaboratively with the team to maintain service standards and uphold the Air New Zealand brand. This is a Permanent Part Time position.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly, professional, and uniquely Kiwi customer service.
• Assist with food and beverage service, including setting up and clearing tables.
• Prepare and serve espresso coffee and alcoholic beverages responsibly.
• Maintain lounge cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.
• Replenish supplies, rotate stock, and assist with ordering as required.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible attitude.
• Physically fit, reliable, and committed to high standards of presentation.
• Holds or is willing to obtain a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, Police Clearance, and AVSEC clearance.
• NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) preferred.
